On November 11, 2022, Sheldon Leroy Melrose passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64. His family is comforted knowing he passed doing what he loved, at his favourite place in the world. Sheldon is survived by his wife Nicole; his children, Christopher (Jenna) and Melissa (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Lake, Ethan, Bradey and Alyssa. Sheldon was born on January 31, 1958 in Montreal, Quebec. He married his beloved Nicky in 1982. They welcomed Christopher in 1983 and Melissa in 1985. He spent the last 30 years as an immensely talented finish carpenter. His skills and drive allowed him to build a slice of heaven - his family camp - where everyone could be together and enjoy the fruits of his labour. Although Sheldon’s life ended before we were ready, the time we spent with him was memorable and full of love. There’s nothing Sheldon enjoyed more than a gathering of the people he loved most. We know he wouldn’t want us to wallow alone in our misery, so we are hosting a celebration of life to remember all the good times. Details of the event will be shared by the family.
