Mark and I stood side by side completing our PPC course through the Fish and game Club, the only ones with 1911's. His was really old and it reminded him of his Viet days. We would talk about things 1911's, until SIGNET, COMSEC, and RADARS, and NORAD, and HF radios popped up. What an amazing guy. I had also fixed split rail fences with him one day at the club, and while bending wire we talked a bunch about soldiering. Also remember going ice fishing with Mark and the Club in 2012. Mark always put his heart and soul into everything he did. I very much enjoyed making wine with Mark and the Robbie Burns dinners / sleep over were one of the highlights of my year. Mark was a true Conservative and a true friend that will be sadly missed.
