Crain, Kenneth Earl
It is with great regret the family of Kenneth Earl Crain announces his passing at his home on Sunday January 1st, 2023 in his 71st year. Ken is survived by his only sibling Bryon (Dorene), his nephews and nieces William (Hali), Andrew, Katie (Jordan) Wills, and Victoria, his great nephews and nieces Madalyn, Henry and Oliver Crain and their family pet Toby and Ben and Lily Wills. Ken was predeceased by his parents Daniel (2007) and Margaret (1999) (MacPherson) Crain.
Ken worked for Canada Post in Toronto as well as in Perth, retiring to country life in McDonald’s Corners. He served the Crawford Cemetery for many years taking over from his dad Daniel. Ken enjoyed many hours at the cottage on Dalhousie Lake making many friends over the years. He enjoyed his weekly casino bus trips with “the girls” playing the penny machines for hours.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Friday, January 6th, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 10:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment Crawford Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Drummond and the staff at Queensway-Carleton, Civic and General Hospitals and the Perth Hospital. He always received the best of care. In remembrance of Ken, donations to the Cancer Society or an organization of your choice would be appreciated.
