Obituary of Donald Edward Schultz

Passed away suddenly, at home on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the age of 82. Loved spouse of Leona Schultz (Mason) for 61 years. Devoted father to Derrick (Deanna), Bart (Lisa), and Pamela Coles (Dean). Proud grandfather of Jamie (Amy) Schultz, Jordan Schultz (Sheena Duff), Joseph Schultz and Roslyn Coles. Great-grandfather to Braiden D’Aoust, Kaleb Schultz, Demisha Schultz and Logan Schultz. Special brother to Isobel (Garnet) Cassell and James (Eleanor) Schultz. He will be missed by brother-in-law Garnet (Elaine) Mason and sister-in-law Goldie (Don) Kane. Donald was an avid golfer and long-time member of the Lombard Glen Golf Course. He and Leona enjoyed summers at the Sandy Mountain Campground in Kemptville and most of all enjoyed spending time with their family. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home 112 Beckwith St. N. Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, March 8, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 9 from 12 noon until service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. In memory of Donald, donations may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.
