Obituary of Elaine McVeety

McVeety, Ethel Elaine

Elaine passed away at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Saturday March 4^th, 2023 at the age of 88 years.  She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Ethel (Dill) Hennigar and her husband Robert McVeety.  She will be sadly missed by her daughter Janice McVeety (Brian Duffy) and son Kevin (Chantal Levesque) McVeety; grandchildren Lauren Duffy, Kristen Duffy (Jason), Dominic and Mathieu McVeety.  Elaine was the sister of Malcolm (late Lois) Hennigar, Eric (late Mary) Hennigar and the late Frank, Hughie (late Marilyn) and Maurice Hennigar.  Elaine will be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Margaret and Sonia Hennigar, her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Friday March 31^st, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.  funeral service will be held in the Chapel Saturday April 1^st, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre.  In remembrance of Elaine, those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Lanark Lodge Resident’s Fund.
