Don was a cousin of mine, as our mothers were first cousins of the McDonnel families near Maberly. Jimmy and Barb and my parents would visit back and forth when Don, Anne and my siblings and I were kids. These visits were always special to me, for Donnie and Anne were so much fun to be with. Don was a good athlete in high school and he always had a wonderful sense of humour. My husband Don and I had a chance meeting with Don outside Carolina Courts when Barb was in the process of moving in. The last time I talked with Don was when he called to offer his condolences for the passing of my mother back in May of 2021.
Don and I wish to express how deeply saddened we are in the passing of a wonderful man. Our sincere condolences go to his family, Denise, Travis, Clayton and Rebecca, granddaughter Cassidy, Anne, Gary and family, and mother Barbara.
May God comfort you and bless you with many wonderful memories of your lives with Don.
