Cordick, Francis Garrett
Lovingly known as Garry or “Pudge”
Garry passed away suddenly at Rideau Ferry Country Home on Monday, April 17th, 2023 at the age of 84 years. He will be greatly missed by his children Dale Cordick, Kevin (Susan) Cordick, Debbie (Peter) Sargeant, Heather Hasler (Bill Price), Pat (Tanis) Cordick, Brent (Denise) Cordick, his grandchildren Shonna (Ross), Chris (Caitlin), Nicole (Matt), Nathan, Brooke (Mike), Chelsey (Andrew) and Brianna and Nolan. Also survived by his great-grandchildren Jakob, Cameron, Colton, Duncan, Lexi, Issac, Charlotte, and Owen. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings; Dennis (Wanda), Bill (Linda), Donna McLean and Jackie King. Predeceased by his parents Rueben Cordick and Ellen Tysick Cordick, his sisters; Teresa Cordick Newson, Ruth Cordick Malloy, his brothers; Wallace “Wally” Cordick, and Gerome “Buck” Cordick. He will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Garry will be fondly remembered by his good friend Mary Ohman. He will be greatly missed, his soft voice and encouraging words “there’s always tomorrow”, a smile and a “hello”. Dad was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Smiths Falls Branch. He worked at Brown Shoe and was remembered fondly for his days at Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of his memorial service in the chapel at 10:30 A.M. In honour of Garry, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital – Perth Site would be appreciated.
