Peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital – Perth Site on April 19th, 2023 Lorraine passed away. She was the daughter of Forrest and Charlotte Gordon. Predeceased by her husband James Crowells. She is survived by her son Randy and her daughter Cheryl. Cherished grandmother of Laura (Troy) and great-grandmother of Cameron and Madi. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Marg Bulmer (Don), Gaile Ormiston (Bill), Darlene Colacicco (Nick), sisters-in-law Shirley (Abbe) Gordon, Jane (Stan) Gordon, Bev (Les) Gordon and families. Predeceased by her sisters June and Wilhelmina; brothers Sid, Abbe, Stan, Les and Clint. Lorraine was a very hard working, strong, and self-sufficient lady, and she was very active in the outdoors. Her illness came suddenly and unexpectedly. We love her millions and will miss her forever, as will all of her family. Every year Lorraine knit up 100 pairs of mittens for donations to the TD Bank, Salvation Army, and other Christmas funds.
As per Lorraine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
