Our deepest condolences to the Jordan family. We have such fond memories and stories over the span of 70 years visiting the lake over 3 generations. The last time I was there in 2015, we pulled in to the farmhouse and there was Alan on his tractor and that was a sight for sore eyes. The place is a time capsule of family memories and Alan is central. As kids we have so many stories of Mr Macgregor in the roof pipe, the sugar shack, and even John Sr helping my grandfather who had boat trouble around 1950! I hope we return again with the 4th generation some day to this special place. - The Liparulo Family

I remember fondly, watching your dad, Jacqueline, busy with all the work around the grounds, as we would sit lazily chatting about life at Queen's or where to go out on Saturday night. He was always so friendly, and inviting to all he met. He will be missed by many.

To the Jordan family, we are so very sorry for your loss. We met Alan about 50 years ago at our first summer vacation at Jordan's Cottages. Each year we would look forward to our summer vacations at Christie Lake. Alan was always there to greet us with his friendly smile and warm handshake.He always made us feel right at home. We will miss our friendly chats with Alan, along with his story telling and sense of humor. Alan was always there to lend a helping hand....either to launch our boat or help fix our car..This year when I drive across the old wooden bridge at Jordan's, I know his spirit will be looking down from the heavens and greeting us for another great summer vacation. We will miss you, our Canadian friend. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I would like to have extend my deepest condolences to Audrey, Paul, Jane and Jacqueline and family. I grew up with visits to Christie Lake Cottages for pop cycles and ice cream at the house. I attended the Shriners BBQ every summer that we could. Allan was a Shriner with a gentle touch, great sense of humor and business man who everyone spoke so highly of. I know mom and dad thought the world of Allan. Mom just spoke of seeing Audrey the other day. I would like to extend mom's deepest sympathy as well .

My deepest sympathies to the Jordan family at this difficult time. Our family rented a cottage from Wib Noonan for many years. Christie Lake was always a wonderful place for our family to enjoy the summer holidays. My Dad knew Wib and Alan very well during those years. I remember a time when Alan's cows suddenly appeared walking around our cottages and he had to work hard to get them all back. As kids we thought this was an unbelievable sight to see. We watched many boats launch during the summer at Jordan's but the best time was the annual corn roast with races and lots of great food to eat. We remember Mr. Jordan being there and enjoying all the activities while talking to everyone who attended. It was a special time for everyone. The entire Jordan family is in our thoughts and prayers and Mr. Jordan will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the Jordan family. Alan will be dearly missed. I spent many summers on Christie lake when my parents (Lou & Sheila McManus), who rented a cottage from Wib Noonan, just on the other side of the bridge that led to the Jordan cottages. My Dad knew Alan very well. I have many fond memories as a young child heading over to the Jordan main home to buy a popsicle after supper and swimming off of the bridge with my friends.
