February 16, 1989 – April 26, 2023
Andrew passed away suddenly in his sleep on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, at Robertson House, at the age of 34. He is survived by his loving parents Paul and Linda Batoff, and his devoted sister Melanie Batoff (Justin) of Iowa, USA. Predeceased by his grandparents Stuart and Laura Poole and Harold and Frances R. Batoff, by his uncle Donny Batoff and his aunt Mary Ann Simpson. Left to mourn are his aunts and uncles Margaret (John) Orme, Peter (Connie) Batoff, Phil Simpson, Janet Poole, Jim Poole and Gord Poole. He will be dearly missed by his cousins Olivia Simpson (John), Carrie Beach (Doug), Christian Orme (Erica), Allison Batoff (Jean-Simon), Daniel Batoff (Maja), Emma Poole and Hallie Poole. Andrew will be fondly remembered by all his close friends and the staff at Robertson House, Social Rec. and Life Skills. Andrew touched the hearts and lives of those who knew him with his gentle nature, beautiful smile and sense of humour. He enjoyed parties, and outings and day trips with his friends and the staff at Social Rec. and Life Skills, who helped him to live his life to the fullest. He so enjoyed his car rides and music with his dad. Special thanks to all the wonderful folks who so lovingly cared for him at the respite homes.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Monday, May 1st, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Andrew’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In honour of him, memorial contributions to ConnectWell Respite Services – Robertson House would be greatly appreciated.
