Obituary of Edward Wood

It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear father, Hubert Edward Wood on May 4, 2023, at the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, QC at the age of 83.  Loving and devoted husband of the late Maria Lemmo.  Cherished father of Angelina (Guillaume) and Edward (Carley). Proud Grandpa/Poppa of Emma, Juliet, Hudson, and Mackenzie. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Janice and Arlene (Terry), nieces and nephews as well as numerous relatives and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday May 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith Street North, Smiths Falls, ON, K7A 2C3, followed by a celebration of Ed’s life which will be held in the Chapel. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery. A reception will be held after the interment at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in Ed’s memory to the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Residence. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their kindness and compassion.
