Robert Charles Swan (Rob)

Swan, Robert Charles, age 55, passed away Wednesday May 24, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his son Aidan and daughter Lauryn, his parents Bob and Brenda Swan, his brother Brian, his sister Jennifer (Rob), his nephew Connor and niece Kelyn. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul Hacker, nurses, staff and volunteers at the Hospice Care Ottawa and the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice for their loving, compassionate and thoughtful care of Rob during the last days of his fight against his cancer. Also, we wish to thank Rob’s many friends and co-workers who were able to visit him during his stay in hospice. Each visit meant a great deal to Rob. We will be forever grateful to all of you for your support to him.

To those wishing to pay their respects, a visitation and Celebration of Life will take place at the Blair & Son Funeral Home in Smiths Falls (112 Beckwith Street N.) on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 1:00p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the tributes beginning at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.

A passion of Rob’s was to raise funds for his local Food Bank. If desired, a donation to your local Food Bank or any charity of your choice would be welcomed.
