Obituary of Kathy Marie Lockett

Kathy Marie Lockett 

It is with the heaviest of hearts, that we announce after a long courageous battle of cancer, Kathy passed away peacefully at the age of 53 in the Smiths Falls hospital surrounded by her family in the late hours of June 24th. 

She was a loving mother to her daughters Nikki (Tyler) Robinson, Julie Janes, Sarah Lockett, and Emily (Krysten) Lockett-Gallery. She was an extraordinary loving Nanny to her grand babies Hailey, Aydessa, Nohlan, Rhyder, Desiree, Mason and Aurora. 

Kathy was a wonderful woman who talked about her children and grandchildren all the time. Everyone who crossed her path thought her firecracker spirit was just something else. If you asked Kathy what her greatest accomplishment was, she would tell you her kids and grandkids with the biggest smile. 

Kathy is predeceased by her grandparents, father, brother Christopher, grandson Jaydlen, and aunt Gail. 

She is greatly missed and survived by her mother Virginia Lockett (Nee King), sister Christine (Philip) Chattaway, Brother Kevin (Tammy) Lockett, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. 

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N. Smiths Falls on Friday, June 30 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Kathy's life will he held at a later date with extended family and friends. In memory of Kathy donations to the CHEO Foundation would be appreciated.
