Dear Kevan family , I am truly sorry to hear of Bills sudden passing ! How shocked everyone must be .
I can't imagine the grief and heartbreak you must be going thru.
He will so so missed at the house ,his reminsing of his farming days and chores .He loved his food everytime he came how he appreciated the meals .He was so kind and constantly thanked you for the invite and if you sent him home with food he just loved that .He was just such a good human.
He had a crazy sense of humor and when he said a joke is childish grin will forever be etched in my mind .
His impression of Elvis was amazing and that will forever be embedded in my memories.
Thank you thank you Julie and the Kevan for having him in my life .What a gift .

It is with such sadness I write this. One of the truly traditional "people of the land", Bill was, following in the rich heritage of his family...for nearly four decades we planted corn on the Kevan farm, and relished in the warm atmosphere of true love of farming. It was only a month and a half ago, you helped set the seed drill for me to plant. May you rest in peace, from a life far too short. The community will never be the same with you gone.

Sincerest condolences to all the loving family members. I grew up with Bill in Stanleyville when I stayed at my grandparents on the weekend. Bill was always a happy go-lucky person and always laughing. We went spear fishing one spring evening and Bill came with his pitchfork and surprisingly enough he caught a couple of suckers with it. We had a lot of good times listening to records (45s) in the back kitchen. Thank you Rick for letting us use your records in your DJ years. Even enjoyed haying with him picking up the square bales and putting them in the barn. One summer day we were back a few fields behind the church, with a creek flowing through the field. We took really dry cowpatties lit them on fire and sent them floating down the creek whereby we went up the bank and threw rocks at them to sink them. If you got Bill mad at you then you only had to outrun him by 50ft cuz that’s when his asthma would kick in. All in all we had many hours of fun growing up. I chatted with him down at the farm a short while ago and he still had that awesome laugh. He will be missed. We’ll meet again someday Bill!!
