Obituary of Betty Holowaczuk
Holowaczuk, Elizabeth Margaret "Betty"
Betty passed away peacefully at Maple View Lodge, Athens on Sunday, July 16th, 2023 with her daughters by her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Wally Holowaczuk in July 2007 and her parents Russell and Edna (Barr) King. Betty was the loving mother to Darlene (Rick) Gordon and Lori (Duane) Barr of Perth; proud grandmother of Jeremey (Amber) and Josh Gordon and Branden and Blair (Michelle) Barr. She was the sister of the late Mary (late Don) Campbell and Allan (Gerry) King.
Betty was a lifelong member of the Perth Civitan Club as well as the Perth Chapter of Eastern Star. The family would like to than the staff of Maple View Lodge for their compassion and excellent care. Special thanks to Sue, Elaine and Christine for the care of Mom when she resided at Carolina Suites.
A private funeral service will take place in the Blair & Son Chapel, 15 Gore St. West, Perth followed by interment in Elmwood Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join with the family in a Celebration of Life to honour Betty, to be held in the Blair & Son Family Centre on Saturday July 29th, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
In remembrance of Betty, donations to Lanark Animal Welfare Society (L.A.W.S.) would be appreciated.
