Obituary of Dennis Ray Wright

Passed peacefully with family by his side on August 15, 2023 in Brockville at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents Olen and May Wright (nee Mosten), his beloved wife Jean Wright, as well as his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Clayton Fleming. Dennis leaves behind his loving children Dan (Violet), Heather (the late Doug), and Denise (Scott); his grandchildren Tyler Miron (Mandy), Josh Gray (Amanda), and Braden Gray (Maddy); his sister Nancy Weir (Earl); as well as his nieces, nephews, and extended families. He will remembered and missed by his close friend Pete Henderson. Dennis was a hardworking man who loved his family, animals, and community; he managed a business selling and repairing Yamaha snowmobiles, and Chevy trucks and Case tractors, as well as keeping the family farm running. His family will miss him more than words can say. They would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff of the KGH ICU and Stroke Unit, as well as the Brockville General Hospital, for their care and compassion. As per Dennis's wishes there will be no visitation or service. A private service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to either Furry Tales Cat Rescue, Lanark Animal Welfare Society, or the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville would be greatly appreciated by the family.
