On Friday evening, August 18th, 2023, Joanne Ruth Brown passed away surrounded by her family at home.  The journey through Joanne's illness was a testament to her incredible strength supported by her love for family and friends.

Joanne is survived by her mother Sarah Walker, husband Trevor Brown, her daughters Chloe Brown and Molly Brown, and her brother Stephen Walker and pets Phoenix, Bob, and Ivan.

Joanne was passionate about riding her horse, Phoenix. She loved baking and cooking for gatherings with friends. She will be remembered as a kind and loving parent, daughter, sister, and a wonderful wife of 39 years. Life was about quality time with friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all.

A private ceremony will be held in remembrance of Joanne's life. For those wishing to do so, donations in her honor can be made to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
