Brad,my sincere condolenses to you and your family. People generally say "it will get easier as time goes by" or " it just takes time",but few people realize how much time. A lifetime of memories can never be forgotten, the bond that is formed after all those years together can never be broken. Cherish every good memory you have of your time together, don't let time take those away.

Our deepest condolences Jen to your Dad and all family members. Your Mom was a very strong and courageous lady. As you know, I was fortunate enough to do my quilting course with your Mom and it was during those classes and subsequently in your home, I learned how warm, kind and giving of a human being she was. Your Mom's acts of kindness extended to Fiona and Will, whether it was halloween or Christmas loot bags, of which they loved. May you all find some solace and comfort in your memories with her. Our sincere condolences. You have lost a beautiful soul. Carol Ann's smile lit up a room and her kindness warmed the hearts of those whose lives she touched. We were blessed to connect with her at the Board office and in the community, most notably with respect to the 2003 IPM and Rural Expo. Draw strength from the memories you share at this sad time.

Our deepest condolences to Brad, Jen, Julie, Matt and all the family.
Carol Ann has been a steady force for good in a quiet, kind and good-natured way throughout her life. She found delight in the small things like watching fireflies lighting up the night sky, doing quilting and other crafts. Her love and devotion to Brad and her entire family was the centrepiece of her life. She lit up with pride and joy whenever talking about her precious children and grandchildren.
In the past year and a half despite the challenges of her illness, she was enveloped by this goodwill and kindness coming back to her through the support and care she received from her visiting care workers, the medical staff at the Ottawa General Hospital and the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, her colleagues at the Upper Canada District School Board, her friends and the unwavering support of her beloved family.
With every firefly sighting we will remember you, Carol Ann, and your love, strength and courage in living your life fully. In the words of Wm. Shakespeare, “If the while we think on you dear friend, all troubles are forgot and sorrows end.”
Bless us with your legacy of love, strength and goodness.
Mary and Jeff

My condolences Bradley, Jen, Matt, Julie and family.
Carol Ann was a very thoughtful woman.
When Jen was born my mother had given Carol Ann a little pink dress that was mine when I was a baby. Carol Ann went on to save that dress to give back to me someday when I had a little girl someday. I never did, so when she found that little dress again a few years ago, she gave it to me because she thought I would like to have it to give to one of my nephew's when they have a little girl someday.
