With profound sadness, the family of Irene Tysick announce her passing after a lengthy and courageous battle with kidney disease on September 6th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Bud for over 63 years. Irene was the cherished mother of Pamela (Dwight Popplewell), Kelly, Terry (Janet) and Sherry (Ron Paul). The dear grandmother of Jamie, Josh, Erin, Jena (Justin Boisvert), Rudi (Tyler Duncan), Candice (Ryan Love), Bailey, Kylie (Kyle Olson), GG of Madison, Mayson, Greyson, Cruz, Jack, Axle, Zoey and Anna. Irene will be fondly remembered by her siblings; Mary Theresa (Ken Beesley), Betty Litchfield (Glenn), Julia (Bobby Knapp), Joanne (Glenn Fielding), Gordon Norwood, Kay (Ken Kirst), Bill Bromley, Bob Moore, Dorothy Norwood. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, the Tysick family, her extended family and many friends. Irene was predeceased by her parents Dan and Kathleen (nee McShane) Norwood, and by her siblings; Marie (Earl Woods), Jean (Mike Mahon), Shirley Bromley, Walter Norwood, Dan Jr. Norwood, and Rita Moore.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Monday, September 11th, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at St. John Parish Cemetery. In honour of Irene, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation – Smiths Falls Dialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated.
