Woods, Doreen (Miller) Doreen passed away at the Broadview Nursing Centre, Smiths Falls on Sunday September 1st, 2019 at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Frank Tarle, her second husband Allan Woods and her beloved son Michael Tarle. Doreen was the loving mother of Linda (Brian) Wolfe, Paul (Judy), Terry (Nancy), Peter (Lynda) and Tim (Rosie) Tarle. She was the cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren Amanda, Erin, Lacey, Tony, Bob, Ben, Emily, Marty, Wesley, Josh, Lia, Sara, Michael, Jodi and Robin, the great grandmother of twenty-two and mother-in-law of Susanne. Doreen was predeceased by her brother Fred Miller and sisters Lottie Rubino and Bernice Mulville. She will be sadly missed by her sister Nora Haveron-Malott, all her extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Thursday September 5th, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Scotch Line Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Blair & Son Family Centre. In remembrance of Doreen, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County "Day Away Program" or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Broadview Nursing Centre in Smiths Falls who tenderly cared for Mom while she resided there.
