It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, gram and great-gram on October 3, 2023 with her children, her faithful cat Rusty, and PSW Tammy by her bedside. Edna has gone to be reunited with her husband Phil (1999), and her two daughters Joan (2021) and Kathy (2021). She is survived by her son Doug (Sharon), her daughter Lynn (Terry), grandchildren Shannon Scarrow, Zachary (Jamie) Buffam ,Rachel Wittenberg, and great-grandchildren Jaliyah and Reese Scarrow, Daynen Hodge-Buffam, Braelyn Buffam, Brayden, Dominic, Annie Banks, Ava and Olivia Lane, as well as her son-in-law Robert Trepanier. Mom had a lot of love to share with everyone; family, friends, pets and all the ones she called her adopted children. Her sense of humour was quick and witty. Whether being a good joke or not you always had to laugh, and she always made the punch line! She kept her sense of humour until the day before her passing. She was a beautiful woman inside and out, she was true to her word, a woman of great knowledge that she shared-with passion and an amazing cook!
We would like to thank PSW’s from Bayshore and Lanark Life Styles, you all know who you are. Also special thanks to Tammy from Sweatergang and friend Norah, and Dr. Neel for the extra time with our mom, grandma and great-grandma. She’s now dancing and singing again! Love you mom.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Thursday, October 12th, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Edna’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 13th, 2023 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In honour of her, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Perth Site of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital would be appreciated.
