Obituary of Mary C. Pizzo

PIZZO, Mary C. (nee Quattrocchi) – On Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Niagara Health St. Catharines Site at the age of 97. Mary was born in Perth, Ontario, March 15, 1926. Beloved wife of the late Peter (2004). Mary was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Agatha Quattrocchi, and by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Murray (Mary) of Smiths Falls, Philip (Rose) of Kingston, Joseph (Jean) of Smiths Falls, Augustus (surviving spouse Mary) of Perth, and by her sister Rose of Perth and baby sister Augustina. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Mary volunteered and dedicated 45 years to the St. Catharines General Hospital and was a Lifetime Member of the Hospital Auxiliary. She was a long-time member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Julia's Parish. Mary was also a member of Beechwood Golf Club for many years. In accordance with Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral. A Memorial Mass will be said in memory of Mary, at a later date.
