Working with Shawn for 20 years was never dull; always positive, full of drama and a whole lot of fun. Dedication to his work and customers made him the real face of Weed Man in the neighbourhood. He knew them all. His abilities on the job were trusted without question and he pulled us through time and again with his dedication. A true heart of gold even though he tried to conceal it with his no nonsense exterior. Kindness and generosity and sense of humour were his inner spirit. We relied and counted on Shawn for so many years and will truly miss him in our lives. A true friend, and loyal employee to the end. How could you leave us? Bless you Shawn and rest easy. Shawn and I started our Weed Man journey at the same time 20 years ago. I remember the first day we met, he didn't say much, he just worked away. He was the most loyal, hardworking person I ever met. I am honestly at a loss of words as it will difficult to think of him not being here. He was like a brother in some ways. Going to miss you Shawn. Love Joey

Here's to fond memories of working with Shawn at weedman.....he was a guy that always was ready to lend a helping hand. Helped me with the golf school many times....going to miss our casual meetings around town.

I was so sorry to hear of Shawn's passing. He was a great co-worker at Weed Man and a really nice person to know. Shawn always took great pride in a job well done, and his customers always knew that he would look after them well. Shawn also loved his little dogs, and always asked how my dogs were doing as well. My condolences to all his friends and family. RIP Shawn... you are going to be missed a lot. Ginny

My condolences Nancy & Corey at this sad time. Working with Shawn at the Weedman, we became great friends and stayed in touch over the years. Shawn was a kind, generous hardworking guy and will be missed. He sure loved that ATV this last year and that electric bike & of course his Lake Port! R.I.P. Shawny D
