GIFF, Brian Andrew – Passed away peacefully in the Kingston General Hospital on October 30th, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family. Will be deeply missed by his best friend and wife of 29 years Ann Giff (nee Paquette). Devoted father of Andrew (Alicia Morrison) and Brianna Giff. Special Poppa of Remi Giff. Loved son of Faye (late George Couch) and Gordon Giff (Cathy). Sadly missed by his siblings Shelli Giff (Ed Crawford) and Janet (Dale Ogilvie) and brother-in-law Michael Paquette (Patiann Baigent). Very special uncle to Kaily and Christopher Ogilvie, Kevin (Katie) Crawford, Tyler Crawford (Dao Nguyen) and Tim Crawford. Great Uncle to Secora, Walter and Everleigh. Fondly remembered and missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his father-in-law Elmer Paquette and mother-in-law Rita Paquette (nee Murphy). Brian was a Captain and proud member of the Rideau Lakes Fire Department with over 22 years’ experience and will be greatly missed by his many brothers and sisters in Emergency Services. Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Brian’s Life at the Lombardy Agricultural Society Hall (6 Kelly Rd, Lombardy, ON K0G 1L0) on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 from 1 to 3pm. Due to allergies, please refrain from wearing any scented perfumes or colognes to the Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Portland Fire Fighters Association or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or to the Smiths Falls Community Hospital Foundation.
