Obituary of Marie Jordan

Passed peacefully on January 22, 2024 in Kingston General Hospital at the age of 95. Born on October 11, 1928 to Letford and Caroline Miller (nee Dodd). Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband James “Francis” Jordan in 1970; as well as by her brother Gene Miller (survived by Diane); her sisters-in-law Kathleen Fitzgerald (Gus) and Thecla Jordan, as well as by her brothers-in-law Leo, Leonard, and Edwin Jordan. Marie was the very loved mother of Holly Jordan Lillie (the late Steve), Tim Jordan (Louise), and Anne Nichols (Charles). She was a special grandmother to William Nichols (Emily), Emily Sheridan (Trent), Chase Nichols (Courtney), Michelle Leegsma (Colin), Crystal Jordan, and Heather Lemna (Sean). She was an extra special great-grandma to Miles Jordan Sheridan. She will be deeply missed by her brother-in-law Lawrence Jordan (Madeline), as well as by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Schulte (Al) and Sheila Jordan (the late Patrick). Friends and family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life for Marie on Sunday February 4, 2024 at the Ronald Holman Municipal Complex (441 Highway 15, Smiths Falls) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB Guide Dogs fund would be greatly appreciated.
