I had so much admiration for Catherine. I had the honour of photographing her and her physiotherapy team several times over the past 6 years. Catherine and I had many warm, wonderful chats. I was so inspired by her love for her team, her passion as a business woman, and her dedication to helping the local business community (including myself). I will miss her greatly. She was what I inspire to be as a local business owner. I’ve included a photo from a recent shoot. My condolences to her family.

Catherine came into my life when I asked the universe to find me a friend who was also a physiotherapy clinic owner and similar to me. The day I asked is the day I received an email from Catherine looking for the same friendship. We had so much in common and I looked forward to seeing her. Although our friendship was just starting, I will always be grateful for our time together. Our conversations were deep and sincere. We spoke from the heart and had the chance to connect on many similar stories. Catherine was my kind of person, caring, honest, hard working, and genuinely looking for a brighter future. It’s impossible to understand, even harder to believe that I won’t have the chance to talk to her again. I am one among thousands of people who feel this way, I am certain. Catherine touched so many souls and we are better people for having met her. Like so many others will say, I wish we had more time together.
I promise to keep doing my charts! Thanks for the wisdom and the friendship. I miss you my friend.
My deepest condolences to her kids, her parents, brothers, close friends and her beautiful Perth Physiotherapy staff. I know she loved her people very much.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the death of Catherine.
I have been a client of hers since the beginnings of her practice in Perth. I have been enjoying her pilates classes each Tues and Thurs, including the recordings she so generously provided. A total body workout.
She also encouraged me through a 100% recovery knee replacement.
Catherine was a visionary. She created a unique Centre, combining physiotherapy with wellness through fitness.
Her Stanleyville Centre is further evidence of her unique vision, to help horses and dogs.
She was sweet and funny.
My heart goes out to her family, colleagues and clients who have suffered a great loss.I hope these tributes will comfort them knowing Catherine made an important difference in this world.
She was a bright light in this community.
I will miss her presence in my life.

I am devastated by the loss of Catherine who I have known for over 20 years. First she was my kind and caring physiotherapist.
In these last years I was honored to be her friend. Words are so inadequate to try to express just what a difference she made in my life. I know that I was able to be there for her at times as well and this comforts now.
We all know how well Catherine loved each of us. She was cheerful, kind, empathetic and compassionate in her practice.
She was full of life as she juggled all her projects, plans and still found time to teach pilates in the wellness center.
I believe she was learning so many new things as well as to live well.
Mostly she was a most exceptional woman who loved her family, her friends, her Physio family and was learning to love herself too.
Catherine thought BIG. She always had a vision and she also was able to bring those visions into reality. Her creative spirit touched everything in her life. And yes Catherine was vulnerable like all of us. I will miss her physical presence. I know her spirit lives among each of us still.
I hope to honor Catherine by being the care and kindness that folks need in this fragile world. And I invite us all to be that love for others. Yes she does not live among us physically but her LOVE REMAINS. My prayers go out to her children, her parents and family. Also these prayers go to her Physio Clinic family--staff and clients and to her friends and and this planet.
May we heal well and love well as Catherine loved all of us.

We first met Catherine when we took our dog Chase to her animal rehab clinic. Her kind and gentle way immediately put him at ease. Over the past year he would cry with excitement when we arrived at her place, wanting to get out of the truck to go see her. At her encouragement I started taking her twice weekly Pilates classes. They were something I planned my week around and looked forward to. She was a shining light and we will miss her deeply. She spoke with such love about her family and was so proud of her children. Our hearts go out to them as they navigate her loss.

My heart is deeply saddened by the loss of Catherine. My condolences and prayers go out to Catherine’s family, colleagues, and friends at this painful time. I first met Catherine at the P&SFDH where we were both employed.
I was fortunate to have Catherine and Andrea take me under their wing from 2010-2012 when I needed extensive physio treatment.
My love of Pilates started with Catherine at the clinic and I gained strength because of her natural way to teach and help others become their best. Our community has prospered from everything Catherine bestowed upon us. Catherine was an angelic glimmer in our lives. Thank you Catherine for blessing us with your grace and compassion. God bless you. May you have peace.

I first met Catherine in the summer of 2020 after a terrible ordeal with Covid. I was in terrible pain, and doctors didn’t know what was wrong with me, and it was months before I could see a specialist. Catherine took me under her wing, she asked questions, and she listened. She was very empathetic and compassionate, and she genuinely cared. Catherine developed a treatment plan to help me manage my pain. She was my “life saver” when no other health are professional was. Catherine treated me on and off for several years after that, and she never made me feel like a “complainer” - she was a true “healer”, physically and mentally.
My heart goes out to her family and friends. What a tragic loss of such a truly special person!

I am full of grief. I was blessed to have had Catherine as my Pilates teacher for 10 years. Her brilliant way of teaching, personal interaction with us as her students, her positive and supportive comments made those classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:15 am something I planned my life around. She took such delight in leading that class, in helping us all not to be “stooped little old ladies” as she used to say. What a gift she gave all of us as our bodies got stronger. She spoke often of her kids as they grew with such love and it was a pleasure during Covid to see Catherine’s delight that her mother joined the class from the UK. I hold Catherine’s family and close friends in my heart at their severe loss. And to Catherine, I say thank you for sharing your light so generously with us.

My deepest sympathies to Catherine's family, friends and her clients. I share this memory in an effort to help ease your pain and share what her life meant to me. As a colleague, Catherine came to my aid when I was at one of the most painful and vulnerable times in my life. She was courageous, compassionate, respectful, smart, kind, and most of all fair in negotiating the sale of my clinic to her which meant a great deal to me. I may have been the first private physiotherapy clinic in the community, but Perth Physiotherapy was all hers. Over the years as I watched her clinic grow and expand, I celebrated her vision and her strength. She was a true inspiration for me achieving something i was not able to do. Catherine can now rest knowing she left this world a much better place and that her legacy and spirit will live on. I am not able to attend the Celebration of her Life, but I will be there in spirit (and virtually if possible). She was one of those rare people that even if you spent a short time in her presence, you benefited by her shining spirit. Thank you Catherine for all that you have given for so many people and their pets.

We wish those closest to Catherine, peace and comfort as you grieve her devastating loss and face this trying time. Although we knew Catherine for just over a year, we can truly say she will never be forgotten. Her intrinsic kindness and compassion graced all of our interactions whether she was lavishing love and healing on our dog Athena or swapping quirky stories about kids, dogs, and horses. On a cold winter day when you walked through the door of Perth Physio Animal Rehab, you felt like the sun had just come out to shine on you.
Go in grace and be at peace, friend. Your absence will be deeply felt.

My heart goes out to those closest to Catherine.
What can I say? It turns out we both moved to Perth in the same year - 1999. I've known her since the early days when I worked as a rehab aid in the same physio clinic. She dog sat our old dog Sundance. She patiently patched me up over the years whenever I tweaked a body part. She believed in mindfulness and meditation and helped me introduce these practices to the Perth community. I watched her grow her business (es) over the years. Through it all, there was a genuine warmth and kindness for all beings. She truly lived it and her inspiration lives on in my heart. I'm guessing she lives on in many hearts. And for that, I'm grateful.

I first met Catherine when she came into my shop in Perth last year. I felt instant rapport with her (I’m also British…but it was so much more than that) and followed that up to see if she’d like to get together again sometime. Which we did … just the once. It was so memorable though. I felt my heart open right up in her presence and she brought such a sense of joy and radiance to the room. Her beautiful, glowing spirit will be desperately missed and my heart goes out to all her family and friends at this most devastating time. ♥️

I took my dog to see Catherine for physio. Although Toby was technically the patient, I never left there without some degree of life coaching, a link to a new supplement, or tips on how to give myself grace. Catherine’s kindness and radiance was inspirational. Although the time I knew her was short, and I was “just a client”, I am feeling this loss deeply.
I will always remember our talks, the care she gave us, and the loving way she looked at Toby (even when Toby wasn’t being the most lovable). She had an enormous heart and will be missed by so many.
