Obituary of Janice Irene Hobbs

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Sunday, February 18, 2024at the age of 64.  Janice is predeceased by her parents Evon and Muriel (nee Lumsden) Craig, her brother Leo Craig, her in-laws Bert and Marg Hobbs and Janice's brother-in-law Daryl Bell.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ken of 39 years and her cherished son Jesse.  Also left to mourn this loss are her brothers Roy (Gladys) Craig, Eric (Joan) Craig, Jim (Heather) Craig, Doug (Aileen) Craig; her sisters Jean (Wayne) Dowdall, Donna (Pat) St. Jean, Debbie Fisher, Karen (Mark) Hanewich, Marilyn (Terry) Swaine, her sister-in-law Jean (late Leo) Craig, Janice's brother-in-law Mike (Faye) Hobbs and sister-in-law Sandy Bell.  Janice will be sadly missed by her aunts, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. As per Janice's wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life taking place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Montague Centennial Hall from 1 to 5 p.m.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
