Lawlor, George John

April 4, 1937 – February 21, 2024

George passed away in the Perth hospital on Wednesday,  February 21, 2024  in his 86th year. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Avalon (nee Lees) Lawlor, his daughters Karen (Ian) Melluish and Janet (Darren) Lawlor and granddaughters Keshia (Frank), Aaliya and Ava.

George started his career at IBM in Montreal where he met his wife Avalon and later retired from his own successful business fixing anything and everything that needed fixing.  The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the nurses who went above and beyond in their care of him the past month and a half. In memory of George donations to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, (Perth Site) or the Ottawa Hospital are greatly appreciated. Memorial is being held privately for the family.  Arrangements are in the care of  Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
