Obituary of Jolene Hansen

Passed peacefully on February 27, 2024 at home with family by her side. Jolene was predeceased by her parents Brigid “Bea” and Henry Joseph “Joe” Crites, her beloved husband Barry Hansen, her brother Michael Crites, and her parents-in-law Arnold and Pauline Hansen. She leaves behind her loving daughter Erin (Matt), and son Brett (Alison), as well as her beloved grandchildren Conor and Daphne. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Martina, John (Cindy), and Mark, as well as by her brother and sisters-in-law Brian (Glenda), Janet (Ed), and Linda “Winky”. Jolene loved her two cats Jinx and Jazz, whom she always called “her girls”, and she lovingly doted on Erin’s cat Shamus who will miss her warmth and affection. She will be lovingly remembered by all of her family, extended family, and friends. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
