Obituary of Katherine Lorraine Mitchell

Katherine passed suddenly and unexpectedly at home on March 5, 2024 at the age of 68. Katherine leaves behind her loving husband Martyn Mitchell; her children Sean (Tracey), Austyn (Kayley), and Spencer; her stepchildren Kyla (Simon), and Hayley; as well as her beloved grandchildren Wyatt, Quinn, Brooke and Kingsley. She will be deeply missed by her mother Lorraine Squires and her siblings Laura, Dan, Rick, Michael and Randy.

Katherine loved her family very much and made them the center of her world. She was a care giver by nature and happily became a second mom to a multitude over the years. She cherished her frequent visits with friends and family in Montreal, her favourite place in the world.

A funeral service will take place in the chapel at Blair and Son Funeral Home (112 Beckwith Street North, Smiths Falls) at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024. A reception will follow the service and friends and family are invited to pay their respects.
