Lorraine was a wonderful neighbour to us on Haggart St. She was always so cheerful and kind. Her family was her life and she loved to share the joy she got from having them near her.

I was very sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing. We shared many good times together with my Grandma, Mary Rounding,
with whom she was so close. Even after Grandma passed, Mom and I enjoyed a few shopping trips and lunch dates with Lorraine. I always enjoyed her quick wit, her slow drawl and her kindness. My condolences to those who held her dear.

It is with the heavy heart I write this. Lorraine was adored among all her friends, and respected by other residents. She was kind, patient, and enjoyed the daily activities. And always had a joke for you. What an amazing person who had a remarkable life that we got to be a part of here in our community. Happy Trails my dear friend.

My Dad & Lorraine’s Dad were cousins. We spent many happy times at their home & I remember all the delicious meals. Becky used to use me as a model to improve makeup & hair product skills.

I remember way back, her Dad and my father would gather in front of the TV, to watch wrestling. They were more entertaining than the wrestling show. We lived next door, and visits to the home farm were frequent, and we were always used so fine. Shirley, sorry for your loss.

Dear Lorraines family:
My mother Bernice went to school with Lorraine, worked at Balderson cheese along side her and attended the same church in Balderson. Iv known Lorraine for many years and got to know her sense of humor and kindness. I can just hear her drawl voice say… well, hello Heather whenever I phoned her or we met up in person. We had alot of laughs at Church functions and meetings. May she rest in peace. Im sure her and Mom are catching up again.
