Obituary of Pavel Kabuda

It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Pavel Kabuda who passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.  Pavel will be laid to rest in the Czech Republic where he had been spending time with his family since his retirement as a restaurant proprietor and chef. Predeceased by his lifelong partner Josef Krotil with whom The Baldachin and My Place restaurants were originally established, Pavel is survived by his brother Jaroslav and sister Zdenka and their families. Family and close friends in both  Czechia and Canada will fondly remember and miss his adventurous spirit and kind heart.
