Our sincere condolences to The Hunter Family,
Lois was such a wonderful woman to be with, so interesting, and great fun, always ready to go out for a drive or to
dinner, anytime, she informed us of the history of Smiths Falls , Perth and surrounding areas,
and introduced us to many people,
We will miss her dearly, already do, her phone calls, a surprise visit from her , and her smiling face,
and when we needed rain for the fields, and her love of music,
she always talked about her daughter Shirley, and how good and concerning she was to her, great love,
and of course her grandchildren & great grandchildren, how she loved their visits,
You were an inspiration to us dear Lois, we are so blessed for having known you.
Thank you dear friend, you will be forever in our hearts, God Bless,
Sincerely, Mike & Darlene Meehan

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs Hunter at Woolworth Dept Store in the early 70's. She was always very dignified and treated this young long haired teenager with kindness and respect. Whenever we bumped into each other over the coming decades it was always warm and friendly. A life well lived.

Our condolences to the Hunter Family on the loss of such a wonderful Matriarch, Lois.
Lois was an example to us all...she lived her life as a participant, not a spectator, and contributed so much to her community and family and friends.
Hers was a life well lived, and we can all be grateful to have shared even a little bit of it with her.
Sending our sincerest sympathy to Laurie and family.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Our deepest condolences Gerald, Joanne, Shirley, Rob and all your children and grandchildren.
What great times our families had. Your parents and ours were an awesome foursome. The Saturday night get togethers for cards, of impromptu music gatherings. I remember many sleigh rides and firework displays we had at your farm. I loved going to the barn to see the lambs.
Your dad and mom were a big part of my young life and have left me with great memories.
Can you imagine what it's like above with the 4 of them together again,
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
