Obituary of Lydia Gertrude Smith

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, Lydia (nee Perk) Smith passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at the age of 74.  She was the beloved mother of Jason (Chivonne) and Tanya Smith.  Cherished grandma of Ryker and Cooper and Jakob.  Lydia touched many people lives with her dedicated teaching of 45 years.  Our family would like to especially thank the caring staff at the Smiths Falls Hospital site and the Kingston General Hospital; your compassion and support are greatly appreciated.  Please join our family as we remember and celebrate the life of Lydia Smith at the Smiths Falls Civitan Club on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Feel free to bring a memory or letter to share.  In memory or mom, donations to Furry Tails Cat Rescue or the Smiths Falls Firefighters Association would be greatly appreciated.
