John Lawrence Pilon (Larry) passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 15, 2024 with family by his side. Lovingly remembered by the love of his life – wife Lynne, #1 son Jamie (Darlene), proud grandsons Curtis (Caleigh), Nicholas (Emily), Justin (Caitlin), great grandchildren Sawyer, Jackson, Lena, Brooks, Colby and Clare, mother-in-law Marg Coughlin, sister-in-law Judy & brother-in-law and best friend Garry Murphy, brother-in-law Glenn (Veronica) Wilkes, sisters Joan Powell and Marina Murphy, his “2nd children” Chris (Michelle) Murphy, Michelle (John) Pakenham, and extended family of numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose Pilon, siblings Ray (Dorcas) Pilon, Rolly (Bev) Pilon, Aileen (Ray) Reading, Betty (Archie) Ostrom, Ken (Bev) Pilon, Jim Powell, and Gerald Murphy, father-in-law Earl Wilkes and Steve Coughlin.

Larry was a selfless, caring, loyal and fun loving man, dedicated to his family, friends and community. He enjoyed golf, bowling and card playing with many friends galore. He spent numerous years with The Civitan Club and his roast beef dinners will never be rivaled by anyone.  Larry was a hard working man proven by the numerous awards he received.  He built homes not houses and all were welcome with love and laughter to competitive games of pool, shuffleboard, cards or a rambunctious game of croquet. No one will ever forget the wild snowmobile rides or the great crazy times on the boats.
We will all truly miss the short little fat guy with the heart of gold and the strength of iron.
