Here's remembering my friend, classmate and neighbor from 3 doors down, from 1966, Judy Poaps. Grace personified. Scott, so sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you, as are those of my family.

Dear Katherine, Lewis, Jordan, Maia and Uncle Scott. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother/sister. Judy & I were very close friends in High School and University. We continued to stay in touch over the years as we were raising our children. At some point, life got busy and we lost touch but I always thought that we would connect again once things settled down in our lives. I am very sad that that will not be the case. I have many fond memories of the fun and crazy things we did growing up. Judy was always a very kind, caring and thoughtful person. She will surely be missed, but not forgotten. My condolences to all of you.

Cori, Thanks for sharing the picture and comments. I know she really enjoyed your friendship and you both had a lot of great times together. The old car brings back some good memories. I hope all is well with you.

Sending love to Judith’s family. I was also part of our small online group trying to Help Find Emma Fillipoff. We were often a support to each other as we went through our day to day life/struggles. Judith loved her kids and grandkids immensely. She was a very caring and compassionate friend. She will be missed from our group. Rest In Peace.

So sorry not to have met or known Judy. Her Dad, was my hero when I was growing up in the little town of Stanstead Qc, who had this fantastic cousin in a nice big house in the city of Ottawa. It was always a real treat to go to 66 Barton, which was seldom. Valerie was of course my favourite cousin and with their loss, I barely knew the emerging families. What a shame that Judy passed at such a young age, but Maia hinted at other problems. My full condolences to the family. Richard ("Sam") Poaps Toronto, On.

What a beautiful photo. Though we never met in person, we lived just down the road from each other in Merrickville. Years later 5 of us formed a group for Finding Emma Fillipoff when the original was shut down,all becoming great online friends. I am so sorry for you loss...She was so proud of you all! Rest in Peace Judith...you shall be sadly missed♥️
