Garry passed away peacefully in the Smiths Falls Hospital on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 with his loving wife of 51 years Mary Jane Blair (nee Calbeck) by his side. He was the loved son of Gordon and Margaret (Robinson) Blair and caring brother to Heather(Jim) Tryon and Wayne (Barb) Blair, and sister-in-law Mary Tryon.
Garry was the devoted father of Trevor and Adam (Jessica) Blair and beloved grampa to Landon, Jackson and Colton Blair.
He will be fondly remembered by the Pigden and Calbeck – Taylor families along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth Saturday June 29th, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. The service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 A.M. The interment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Brooke will be held privately for the family. Everyone is invited to the home of Paul & Heather Tryon, 315 Glen Tay Road for a time of sharing of memories.
In remembrance of Garry, for those who wish, donations to St. Stephens Cemetery, Brooke or the Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caring nurses of the Smiths Falls Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
