So sad to hear of Dorothy's passing .We have known Dorothy and Wes for over 50 years As newly weds in 1972, and newcomers to Asbury FM, Dorothy and Wes along with Evelyn and Art Knowles invited us after church for coffee and goodies. It made these newcomers feel welcome. Years later we served together in the Gideons. Many wonderful times together. It was a delight to see her at Keenagers in May. Wes you have our sympathy. I knew Dorothy for a very brief time and she was a very wonderful caring person. We were roommates at the Smiths Falls Hospital when she broke her ankle and we talked non-stop the whole time. It was as if we had been friends forever. I enjoyed her company very much. I know she loved and cared for her husband, family and friends. Her husband was constantly on her mind as she worried about him while she had to stay in the hospital. Treasure your memories. She was a gem.
