Obituary of Yvonne Iva Brady

January 9th, 1935 – August 14th, 2024

Yvonne passed away in the Perth Hospital on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born in Tunapuna, Trinidad and Tobago and is predeceased by her parents Iris and Edmund Bailey, her husband George Edward Brady and sisters Eyvolle Cuthbert, June Chouhan, and brother Clyde Bailey. She is survived and loved by her sister Joan Bailey, nieces Grace Cuthbert, Donna Gray, Marlene Bailey, Trisha Chouhan, Yasmin Chouhan, Davina Bailey, and nephews Brian Bailey, Randall Bailey, stepchildren Michael Brady, Ann Brady, Peter Brady and close friends Bruce and Sally Wilkinson and Steve and Anne Gallant, Elaine Ellson and Tom Ellson.

Yvonne will be remembered by extended family members, friends at Asbury Free Methodist Church, Perth Keenagers and PEP community members. She was a "social butterfly" in Perth and around her second home of Florida. Yvonne was quite an engaging person with plenty of experiences and stories to share. She was a registered nurse and served as Head Nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Ottawa.
