Barnett, 'Vi' (Lavina May)

Passed away peacefully August 17, 2024 at Lanark Lodge. Loving mother to Lance (the late Mary) Barnett and Corinna Sommer. Devoted grandmother to Steven Mikhail Sommer (Genevieve), and their children Reya Lavina and Ezra Mae; and Cody Garrett Sommer.  Predeceased by siblings Jean Randall (Terry) and Bob Nyberg.  Sister-in-law to Jess Nyberg.  Vi was an adoring aunt to nieces and nephews Brian, Marina, Michael, Sandy, Renee and Christopher.  Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 148 Poonamalie Rd., Smiths Falls at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls. In memory of Vi, donations to Jehovah’s Witnesses or towards research at the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville.
