Obituary of Jim White

Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the age of 89.  Jim is survived by his cherished daughter Kimberley (Richard) Dougdale and is predeceased by his sons Kelly and Jim White. He will be fondly remembered by his special “son” Steve (Tu) Maxwell, and his sisters Arnette (late Bill) Dales and Charlene (Tom) Whitney.  He will sadly missed by his nephews, Malcolm and Bruce Dales, Ted (Brianne) and Dan (Sue) Whitney as well as his great-nieces Hailey (Cal), Sydney (Steve) and Teegan.  Jim was also predeceased by his nephew Tim Whitney.  Jim was always grateful for his many friendships throughout his life but Jim Barnett and Derrick Bresee, were always by Jim’s side helping him and Jim was always grateful for their time, attention and care.  Jim will also never be forgotten by his many extended family and friends.  All are welcome to a graveside service at Maple Vale Cemetery on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. Following the graveside, everyone will be invited to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95, to share in light refreshments and in sharing of memories. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
