Guthenberg, Francis “Frank” Vincent
Peacefully, Frank passed away at Perth Community Care on Sunday, August 11th, 2024, at the age of 91. He will be sadly missed by his children Michael (Joy), Denise (Bill), Paul, Marianne (Sandy), Karen (Peter), John, Dianne (Len) and Kristine (Al). He was the treasured grandfather and great-grandfather of many, and the cherished brother of Michael O’Donnell (Marlene), David O’Donnell (Mary Lou), Caroline O’Donnell and Gloria (John Murphy). He will be sorely missed by the mother of his children and first wife Lilyann Worthington, and he now joins his second wife Jane Guthenberg in eternity. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends, here from the Sharbot Lake & District Lion’s Club, Tay Valley Tent & Trailer Park and in Florida. The family would like to thank all the staff from Perth Community Care Centre for their compassion and kindness to Frank since he was admitted there.
All are invited to join in a memorial service for Frank & Michael at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Private interment to be held in St. John’s Parish Cemetery. In honour of him, memorial contributions to either the Sharbot Lake & District Lion’s Club or Lanark Animal Welfare Society (L.A.W.S.) would be greatly appreciated.
