Dear Gloria and family, it was with great sadness that we heard of Brian’s death at such a young age. I remember our younger days when we played cards every month. All our kids were the same age and we exchanged each other’s laughter and fears. Brian was a great guy. I know he will be missed dearly by you, kids and grand kids. Brian will surely watch over all if you. Take care. Madeleine

Gloria & family.Louise & I are sorry to hear of Brian's passing - our deepest condolences.
Brian & I were born just a few weeks apart & I have fond memories of him as we interacted in a variety of ways over the years. At SFDCI we shared a home room and played school sports together. We lost touch after high school only to find that we both ended up working for the same company, Brian in sales at WESCO Ottawa and I as Plant Manager of the Westinghouse (later Eaton) plant in Perth. We both shared a passion for golf & after his return to Smiths Falls, it was good to reconnect and it was a pleasure working with him to organize the Team Henderson / Golf Canada tournaments at our club. I just learned today that our son Kurtis knows Todd and that our grandsons Egan and Hudson play hockey together. Small world . . .

Donna and I offer our condolences to Gloria, and the rest of the Thompson family.
I first met Brian upon joining Wesco in January 1976. Since that time, Brian and I worked together, and played together, and partied together for the entire period of my 37 year career at Wesco. We worked hard and achieved much. We played many sports. We entertained, or were entertained by co-workers,suppliers and customers. I have more fond memories than I could ever convey.
All the best...

Gloria, and all who mourn Brian’s passing,my sincere condolence. I always enjoyed my games with him, a complement for good shots a simple shrug of the shoulders for the poor ones. It was after the game his endearing spirit was on full display. He made sure all had a beverage, everyone knew one another and was made to feel welcome in the group. A very respected member of not only our golf club but the golf community in general. As they say at the Masters, Fore Please Brian Thompson Now Driving. Play well Brian.

Too Many To Tell

There are far too many stories to tell about the Reid and Thompson's "journies" from sking Eatern Townships with Arl and Shar. Chalets over the years. Banff, so much hockey even in Maine during the summer!! Houseboat on the Rideau. You both were so supportive when I lost Marie. I am hoping my mobility is such that I can travel to "The Falls" in December. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Be strong. God Bless
