Noreen was a rare and beautiful gem of a soul. You who knew her know than! We shared laughter and tears over the years. We talked of things fabulously frivolous and also things difficult and deep. And oh I appreciated her ways of navigating life. I felt so lucky to have met her early in my working life and I have carried her loving energy close to my heart ever since and always will.
Dear Terri - you and yours - lights of her life! May her memory be a blessing as you carry her close and onward.
With love, deep respect and gratitude, Thea

Noreen, my cherish friend of more than 50 years…
We shared sad and happy tears, and made great memories that held hilarious laughter. Many a “drop in” we enjoyed, chatting over coffee and your scrumptious muffins! We’d talk for hours, unfiltered, and without judgment. A precious friend you were, always supportive and wanting the best for others. How you made me laugh!
We had plans. In August, we got together for our monthly luncheon (which was sometimes a hit or miss thing, but we vowed…”No more misses, from now on!”). What we ordered that day, “Never again”, then saw a platter go by and in unison, said, “That’s for next month!”, and we laughed. When I called towards the end of September to schedule our lunch date, you were not feeling well……Sending you on your way with ((((HUGS))))
Love Donna, and yes, Touli

Dear Teri, Blair and the boys. My heart goes out to you at this time. Noreen was such a special lady, so very soft, kind, warm and talented in so many ways. She always asked about others above herself and made everyone feel welcomed and important.
Teri, I know how very much you will miss her.
My heartfelt sympathies to Bud and Carol Tyers.

Dear Terri and Blair, Benjamin and Emmett, It was with sadness and yet fond memories that I read of the death of Noreen today. She was a person with a great heart and care for others. I was honoured every year to receive very generous gifts from Noreen to be given to a family in need at Christmas. God Rest her and Grant her Peace

Heartfelt condolences for your loss. Noreen was a unique woman and storyteller. We worked together for many years. You could always count on Noreen to bring laughter and a practical joke into an environment that could sometimes be tragic and depressing. Her humour and humanity helped us through. I will miss her Facebook tales and curbside chats.

My thoughts are with you Teri, Blair, Emmett and Ben. I enjoyed spending time with your mom/nan and have for the past 40 years. She was a very special woman who always had a story to share. And almost always, those stories had one of you in them and when she told them, the love for each of you oozed with her every word. Cherish your memories as will I. I feel so blessed to have had Noreen as my friend.
