Words cannot express the sadness in our hearts, over the loss of our beloved father, and Poppa, Glen Wright. On Friday, October 25th, 2024, while surrounded by his loving family, Glen peacefully slipped into eternity, and was reunited with his loving wife of 67 years, Evie. Glen was the loving father of Carol Ann (Dwayne) Dobbie, Jeffrey (Karen), and Lianne Wright. He was the treasured Poppa of Josh, Emily, and, Jeremy Dobbie. Natasha, Katrina, and Jarrett Wright, Adam (Candace) Timmons, Montana (Andrew) Stein, and Savannah Hayfron-Benjamin. He was the proud great-grandfather of 8. Glen was predeceased by his parents Robert and Emily Wright, and siblings Helen Burns, Della Dowdall, Lorne, Donald, Earl, Carl, Geneva Moore, and Gordon Greer. Survived by siblings, Joyce Best, Kenny Wright and Mary O’Leary. Loved brother-in-law of Evie’s surviving siblings, Audrey (the late Allen) Blair, Barb (the late Elwin) McKinnon, Jim (Adelene) McCord, and Judy (Vernon) Wheeler. He will also be missed by sisters-in-law Pauline Wright, Marion Wright, Jean Wright, and brother-in-law Allen Moore. Glen was a man of many talents who could turn his hand to anything. He enjoyed interacting with people on a 1:1 basis, and will be greatly missed by the countless people whose lives he has touched. His faith in the Lord shone through in his actions. His greatest joy was in doing for others.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Wednesday October 30th, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held in Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, 160 Wayside Drive, Perth on Thursday October 31st, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.
