So many memories! There was teaching, working on vehicles in the auto shop, robotics, coming up to the cottage, skiing, watching our kids, helping our daughter with Auto Cad and the Goose. When my sister passed, Riley came from Perth to Bracebridge to help with the build of our house, working with co-op students. You were a wonderful person. David, Margot, Sabrina, Holly and Amanda. Rest in peace Riley.

My deepest sympathies go out to Maureen, Riley’s family and his many friends.
I met Riley a number of years ago on the tennis courts and I always enjoyed playing tennis with him as did all of our members. He was a gentleman on and off the courts and always shared his good humour and positive attitude.
Riley gave lessons to two of our grandchildren. He was very patient with all of the kids and I must say, they were challenging.
Riley made a difference. He is missed.

Riley was warm and giving in nature to friends and family. I remember spending time at Otty Lake with Peg, Chiam and all the kids, Riley always had small jobs for the boys to do, then there was always more exploring to do. He was kind and generous and I am sure will be greatly missed.

Although I only knew Riley for a year through the Perth Snooker Club, I found him to be a talented, kind and considerate friend who always took the leadership role when it came to doing good things for others. I will miss him. My since condolences go out to Maureen and all their friends and family.

Hello from the Sinclair High School Tech Department in Whitby, Ontario.
Riley was my teacher mentor in 2009. I was working under him during a practicum while enrolled in teachers college.
Now I am teaching at Sinclair and have found examples of his work here--beyond the geese.
He was a very talented person and a gift to us from God.
He will be missed.
I will try to carry forward the teachings he left behind for us.
