Obituary of Brian Ellard Suffel

Brian passed peacefully at home on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 at the age of 79.  Beloved husband for 56 years of Claudette (Deschenes) Suffel.  Much loved father of Earl, Jennifer (Johnny) and Jason (Casey).  Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Owen (Helen), Maci, Ava and Raya.  Survived by brother Grant (Pat) and step-brother Fred (Jan) Gould.  Sadly missed by Claudette’s family; Francine (Ron) Hill and Diane (Allan) Dinner.  Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.  Predeceased  by his parents Gerald Suffel and Larena Gould, brother Paul, step-sister Diane Gould.  Brian enjoyed 35 years with CP Rail as a Locomotive Engineer retiring in 1996.  Most of all in retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and his dogs.  In keeping with Brian wishes, family will gather for a service at Hillcest Cemetery and Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls.  In memory of Brian, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
