Obituary of Lawrence Patrick Brennan

Passed away peacefully with family by his side in hospital, Kingston on November 10, 2024 at the age of 81. Welcoming him at the gates of heaven was the love of his life Lyla and beloved grandson, Emery Gabriel Brennan.  Loving and devoted father of Lisa (Lionel) Trudel, Lianne (Philip) Burns, Laurie Brennan, Lana (Mark) Pettit, Lesley Brennan (Chase Himmelman), Lawrence Jr. (Heather) Brennan, Lorel Brennan, Lane Brennan (Laura Cazemier), Leah (Greg) Allen, and Lyndsay (Dallas) Mullaney. Proud grandfather to his cherished 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and counting.  Loved brother of Alice, Clem, George, Mary, Raymond and Noreen and predeceased by siblings James, Theresa, Bernard, infant sister Veronica and parents James and Lillian.  Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, Lyla’s family and many great friends.  All are welcome to join the family to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  A reception will follow as the family celebrate his wonderful life at Hanley Hall. Lawrence’s final resting place will be beside Lyla and his grandson Emery, in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rogers House in memory of Emery Brennan.
