It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Pierre Lynch by natural causes on December 5th, 2024.
Throughout his life, Marc demonstrated a deep appreciation for the natural world. Like his father, he found peace in the great outdoors, embracing activities such as canoeing, camping, snowmobiling, and fishing. Marc also took pride in working the land, creating with his hands, and had lately enjoyed working in carpentry.
Marc was knowledgeable about a wide range of topics and always eager to engage in conversations, offering insights and perspectives to those around him.
Marc was predeceased by his father, Robert John Lynch. He is survived by his son, Christopher Lynch; his mother, Fleurette Lynch; his siblings: Gisèle (Steve), Denise (Joe), Bob, and Maureen (Gary); and his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to special friend and mentor Brian Forrester, for his unwavering support, and to the first responders for their care and compassion.
Marc’s life serves as a reminder of the power of compassion and understanding. In his memory, we invite you to honour his spirit by performing an act of kindness for someone in need. If desired, donations can be made to Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth or another organization supporting children.
A celebration of Marc’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
