Birse, Carolyn J. At Perth Ontario on Monday October 10th, 2011 at the age of 75 years, Carolyn went home to the Lord whom she loved and served all her life. She was the cherished wife for 53 years to Robert "Bob" Birse, the loved and respected mother of Lisa Davis of Vancouver, Andrew (Irene) Birse of Shelburne and devoted grandmother of Hayley, Hannah and Hunter Birse. Carolyn will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law George (Lily) Birse and Derry (Margaret) Birse, sister-in-law Vivien (David) Dempster, the Hembruff and Birse families and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Wednesday October 12th, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Perth Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Private interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. In remembrance, contributions to the Women's Missionary Society of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
